About Mary Simmons Walsh

From Roanoke, Virginia, Mary S. Walsh is an emerging composer who writes music in various styles for vocal, instrumental, and electronic mediums. Mary graduated from Hollins University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in music composition and a certificate in arts management. Mary completed her master’s degree in music composition in the spring of 2023 at the University of Kentucky. In addition to being a composer, Mary is also an elementary music teacher, church music director, and adjunct music professor.
